Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Shopping online for items that are usually smelt in person can be tricky. If you receive your item and are not completely satisfied, please contact us at lightupthenightcandleco@gmail.com. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need proof of purchase ie: screenshot of your email receipt and/or bank/money app transaction.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please send a picture of the product, the box (to show damage), and the bottom of the box to show the seal of certification and we will work on making sure your order is taken care of. Make sure to submit this information within 72 hours of receiving your order. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) or personal care items (such as bar soap.) Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please reach out to our email listed above detailing what you would like to exchange for. We will work out how to send the item(s) back and get the new one(s) to you. As listed above, items to be returned must be in the condition in which you received it. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
